In the whirlwind of life’s chaos and darkness, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed and lost. That’s why I’ve crafted the “If Jesus…” series; stories with a biker theme that oscillates between light-hearted amusement and profound seriousness, all designed to remind us that hope and assistance are within reach.
Some might wrongly label me a “Jesus Freak1” intent on converting others to my beliefs. And in a roundabout way, they’re correct. My desire for you to discover God, to forge a connection with Jesus, is rooted in a profound reason: to join a community of caring souls who will support, educate, love2, and stand by you – mirroring God’s unwavering presence.
I am unapologetically Christian3 and do not shy away from this truth. Yet, I am not one to impose my faith aggressively. Instead, I approach life with humility, sharing the same fears and challenges as anyone else in the 21st century.
We navigate a world rife with hate, violence, bigotry, and a myriad of other malevolent forces. I won’t sugarcoat it – these realities will affect your life. But with Jesus by your side and a steadfast faith, you’ll find the resilience to endure, to thrive, to transform, to confront, and to love when faced with adversity.
Hold onto the essence of the above paragraph. Let it resonate in your heart and embrace the truth: you are cherished, immensely so.
Imagine you’re pausing for fuel, grabbing a coffee, or waiting at the bus stop, and you encounter someone yearning for a conversation – take a moment to listen. This could mark the beginning of your journey with Jesus, as He swiftly enlists you into His fold. He guides you along His path for a purpose – to bestow upon you a life of significance, a life dedicated to uplifting others, just as you have been uplifted, as soon as you started to read through this website.
Peace be with you – Muz.
- Jesus Freak (hate that term) for me, is that I am devoted to the study of Jesus Christ and His teachings. Not to be confused with the 60’s term for Hippies and other fundamental groups. ↩︎
- If someone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen? And this commandment we have from Him: that he who loves God must love his brother also. (1 John 4:20-21 NKJV) ↩︎
- I will praise You, O Lord, with my whole heart; I will tell of all Your marvellous works. I will be glad and rejoice in You; I will sing praise to Your name, O Most High. (Psalm 9:1-2 NKJV) ↩︎
