A little while ago, I was asked how I came up with my ideas for the stories.
To be honest, the story posts are relatively easy. I just think about a subject and then weave the story around that theme. Some times the ideas come into my mind whilst I’m sleeping, so I’ll wake up and make a note (I always have a notepad/pen/pencil beside my bed). I also carry a little notepad with me when I go riding, because sometimes I’ll see something that just fits the bill for a new story.
An example of how that goes is this image, which I took after writing an idea down, once I’d woken up. It is for the next story (spoiler alert), but it gives you an idea of how it starts. I’ve actually learnt the art of writing in the dark, so as to not wake up the wife.

I’m not going to give anything away, you will just have to wait!
On the other hand, there is a wonderful piece of art at the top of a Muz’ Message. That too started life as an idea scratched out on notepaper, which then was brought to life later in Photoshop.

If you want to see the finished image, follow this link.
So that is it, nothing fancy, just an overactive imagination. But I must say that keeping a notebook/pad handy is great, because you never know when a great idea pops into your head. I’ve often been riding along, tunes in my helmet, when all of a sudden – pop – pull over quick, out with my little notepad and another idea saved, sorted.
Muz’ Messages are a different thing altogether, because they are teaching my readers scripture and other biblical facts. They are crucial (in my opinion) in their role, in bringing something that I hope will inspire you to consider becoming a follower of Jesus Christ. As the old saying goes – “Better now, rather than later.” Too late is not worth considering, unless you like working 24/7 in temperatures that tend to make you burn. Not my idea of a budget holiday, that’s for sure.
If you guys have any other thoughts, feel free to contact me via the website contact form, and I’ll reply as soon as I can.
Peace be with you – Muz.
